FRUIT PIZZAS!

Looking for a tasty, colorful, and relatively healthy snack? These cute little fruit pizzas are easy to make and taste great! You can customize them for holidays, too.

Here's how you make them:

Step 1: Bake your sugar cookies. Use your favorite homemade recipe, recipe from a box, or even pick up a dozen pre-made ones from your local grocery store or bakery!

Step 2: When cooled, frost your cookies with cream cheese fruit dip. You can find it at your local grocery store, or make it from scratch with 8 oz. cream cheese, ½ cup sugar and 2 teaspoons of vanilla (mix until light).

Step 3: Cut up your fruits. Choose strawberries, blueberries and  raspberries if you you want a patriotic theme for the 4th of July.  Or use kiwi, mango, mandarin oranges and other colorful fruits.

Step 4: Arrange fruit on each cookie.

Step 5: Cool in your fridge for 30 minutes or so.

Step 6: Serve on a wooden cutting board, serving tray or a plate.

These fruit pizza cookies make a great summertime snack when local fruit is plentiful and are so easy. If you find a tasty fruit combination that you can’t wait to share with the world, let us know.
