With its sleek, lighted arch, this Deckorators® post cap is an elegant way to light your deck or garden. The solar collector is cleverly hidden so all you see is the softly shining light. How does that work? Sunlight passes through the frosted lens to recharge the batteries.
4 in. x 4 in. post cap inside dimensions: 3-5/8 in. x 3-5/8 in. Fits 3-1/2 in. x 3-1/2 in. posts.
The included rechargeable AA batteries will last about a year. Replace with rechargeable batteries only. The LED light bulbs should last about 10 years (that’s based on normal usage of 6-8 hours per day).
Attach to post with exterior-grade construction adhesive. Allow batteries to fully charge in direct sunlight for 24-48 hours.
