Are you building a railing with treated wood posts or Deckorators® Post Mounts? Cover the posts with post sleeves to give your finished project a cohesive look. These post sleeves are also great when you’re replacing your old railing but keeping the original wood posts.
The heavy-gauge aluminum sleeve is powder-coated for a uniform appearance and weather resistance. This post sleeve is lined to protect against corrosion that can occur when pressure-treated wood contacts aluminum.
If you end up with a gap between your post and decking, cover it with matching post base trim, available separately.
