Can't decide between natural wood or striking color for the room that's so meh? Here's a way to get both, a single product you can use to create a stunning accent wall or maybe a family room bar.
UFP-Edge Deep Sea Blue Charred Wood Shiplap is lumber that's been burned to accent streaks and knots, then painted sheer blue. The color is duskier over charred areas, positively electric over lighter spots - the knots look like sparks of color.
Boards are charred on faces and sides, not backs. A light non-shiny clear coat protects the surface. Board sides have rabbeted, square edges for true shiplap installation. Boards overlap, ends butt up together. Exposed face is 4-5/8 inches. 4 boards cover about 12.33 square feet. Boards are kiln dried for minimal warp and shrinkage.
READ THIS ABOUT COLOR: Boards in the 4-pack may be lighter or darker depending on the level of streaks, knots and char. If you want a consistent look, we recommend ordering at least 10% more wood than you think you need.
Installation notes: Furniture and installations in high-traffic or potentially wet areas (like a kitchen backsplash, countertop or a bathroom) require a polyurethane sealer. DESIGNED FOR INSIDE USE ONLY.
UFP-Edge Charred Wood Shiplap is decorative - not for structural purposes. It can be installed on walls and ceilings, vertically or horizontally. Product must be fastened to structural members at a maximum 24 inches on center.
