Product Overview

UFP-Edge White Charred Wood Trim Boards are ready to make your project fabulous. Colored charred wood is made by running boards through fire, burning top and edges (not the bottom). This highlights streaks and knots. Boards are then washed with white paint.

A light, non-shiny clear coat protects the surface. Note that if you plan to use the boards for furniture, or in busy areas like kitchens or wet areas like a backsplash or bathroom, you must seal with polyurethane to protect the finish. INDOOR USE ONLY.

READ THIS ABOUT COLOR: The intensity of charring and color varies from board to board because of wood's natural streaks and knots. Color may be brighter in some areas (like around knots). Natural wood might show through in some places. If you want consistent color for your project, we recommend ordering at least 10% more wood than you think you need.
