Product Overview

PROBLEMS: You want to grow your own veggies and herbs but you really don’t want a backache from digging a proper garden bed. Or you want to keep the darn dogs off your basil. Or tomatoes hate your heavy clay soil.

SOLUTION: This Outdoor Essentials® Vinyl Raised Garden Bed. You won’t have to break ground, your dogs will race around - not through - it and you can fill it with the loamy, sandy, slightly acidic soil those diva tomatoes want.

To assemble, just slide rails into posts – no hardware needed. The raised bed frame's bottomless design lets excess water drain. It also lets our friend the earthworm do his business improving the soil.

Installation tip: A rubber mallet makes locking the rails into posts easier. One person can assemble the Raised Garden Bed kit, but it’s easier with 2 people. Bonus: Double the planting area by adding this Outdoor Essentials Vinyl Raised Garden Bed Add-On Kit.

Planting tip: Fill the bed with a soil mix that’s right for your plants. if you’re placing the bed over grass or weeds, layers of newspaper or cardboard on the bottom will keep weeds from growing through, and the paper will break down over time.
