Product Overview

How about an epic, roaring bonfire that doesn’t leave your clothes reeking of smoke? Meet Solo Stove’s Yukon XL 27-inch fire pit. This sleek stainless steel beauty’s genius double-wall, vented design makes lighting fires quick and easy. This fire pit burns efficiently, throwing off plenty of heat with minimal smoke. All the wood burns down, leaving only ultrafine ash.

And bonus—we're throwing in a stand! The stainless steel stand is designed to keep the surface under the fire pit cool. The stand protects heat-sensitive surfaces like grass and wood or composite decks, and it prevents sand from blocking the lower vent holes (plus it can be stored inside the fire pit). You should always use a stand on a deck and on green grass.

How is the Yukon smokeless? Solo Stove fire pits are designed to continuously draw in oxygen. As the air is drawn in, it heats up. This hot air is then injected into the top of the fire through interior vents, producing a secondary burn. This hotter fire not only looks mesmerizing, it burns off smoke, making your fire smokeless and more enjoyable.

The Yukon can burn full-size logs. Hardwood logs are recommended for optimum efficiency. You can put the Yukon in an existing fire pit if you leave 4-6 inches of clearance all around for ventilation.

NOTE: Because of the extremely high temperatures, the stainless steel will eventually discolor. Stainless steel has an increased resistance to rust but isn’t rust proof. Prolonged exposure to harsh weather will increase rust and discoloration but will not affect normal use.

Secondary burn tips: Don’t stack wood above the upper interior vent holes Place the Solo Stove’s flame ring so it tapers toward the inside of the fire pit and does not block the upper vent holes. The flame ring helps direct the secondary burn toward the interior to burn off smoke. Dry wood recommended.
