Product Overview

This sleek wand eliminates the aggravating things about grilling—noxious lighter fluid that makes food taste weird, coals that refuse to stay lit, and time spent waiting for coals to get hot enough for cooking. The Looft I is perfect for any kind of grill, smokers, pizza ovens, fire pits, and fireplaces. You can even use it on indoor fireplaces!

The simple cylinder lights a fire safely, without flames, using superheated (1200° F) air. What does that mean? A fast, hot fire and no need to keep fire starters or combustible lighter fluid around.

More bonuses: an integrated bottle opener and a stand that also acts like a hanger. Has an aluminum heat shield that cools quickly.

Technical specs: 1500W, 120V, 60Hz, 1200° F; store in dry location; don’t let it get wet.

How it works:

  • On grills and fire pits: touch fuel with the lighter tip.
  • In an indoor fireplace: place paper between logs. Turn on the Looft and blow hot air up the chimney for 30 seconds.
  • For both: aim lighter at the same spot until sparks or a glow appear. Pull back a bit while maintaining your aim until the fire has started.
