Here’s one for those of us who like to grill outside but do not want to mess with temperature, knobs, and vents—aka just light the grill and cook already. You will adore the Solo Stove grill. It celebrates simplicity and cooking with friends. The grill sits on a stand that allows everyone to pull up a seat and gather ‘round while the food cooks.
Solo stove has basically reinvented the grill. The 360° Airflow Design creates a convection cooking environment. Air flows in, heats up, and circulates. Charcoal is ready in 15 minutes. The grill reaches 400-500° and stays at that temperature for up to 45 minutes. The lid has a vent and an interior latch that hooks onto the side of the grill when you need to take it off.
Set up and clean up are a snap, with removable ash pan, charcoal grate, and cooking grate.
The cooking grate folds on both ends, so placing and removing it is easier. This also lets you tend the coals without completely removing the grate.
The grill burns charcoal briquettes, hardwood lump charcoal or lump kiln-dried chunk wood. A typical grill session uses about 60 briquettes (4 lbs. of charcoal).
This bundle gives you extra goodies. You’ll get a set of 3 grilling tools, hefty and rigid to stand up to outdoor cooking. They’re sized for cooking over a hot grill. All have hanging loops.
You also get a Grill Pack of Solo Stove’s all-natural clean-burning charcoal briquettes (made with vegetable starch, no fillers, no chemicals).
You also get a pack of 4 Starters, non-toxic, pet-safe 100% recycled hardwood.
Plus, you get a case for transport and a cover for protection when not in use.
Good to know: The cooking grate is strong enough to support a cast-iron pan. The grill is not designed to act as a smoker. Grill is not designed to function as a fire pit. You must use the grill with the stand (the bottom gets hot).
Grill and tools are 304 stainless steel, a highly heat- and corrosion-resistant grade of stainless steel.
