How it works: The system is a hub-and-grill combo. The hub fits on top of the fire pit and holds the grill a just-right 8 inches above the flames. The grill locks onto the hub. Its handles make lifting and lowering easy. Now get your fire going. Once it has burned down to coals and small flames, you’re ready to cook!
The cast-iron grill is perfect for open-fire cooking. It heats slowly and retains heat. The grates are sized to keep food from falling into the fire.
The durable hub is a seamless piece of 304 stainless steel. Its brushed finish matches the fire pit. To store, place the hub upside down inside the fire pit.

Seasoning cast iron: The Grill is pre-seasoned, but you will still need to season it 8-10 times to fully develop its non-stick qualities. Allowing an extra 30 minutes before grilling will give you time to season the grill.
