The chair frame is layered, laminated spruce for excellent stability. Hardware is galvanized to resist corrosion. Wood has been weatherproofed. If you keep the chair outdoors, manufacturer recommends applying a clear penetrating oil (such as Thompson’s Waterseal Clear Waterproofing Wood Protector) once or twice a year, depending on your climate.
The seat cushion is filled with self-draining polyester fiber fill. The cottony-soft cover material is a high-performance solution-dyed acrylic that resists fading, water and stains. To clean cushion, use a hose and air dry outside.
ASSEMBLY TIP: Spread all the parts out on a sheet or blanket. Refrain from tightening bolts until all pieces are attached. You might need to maneuver the pieces a bit to line up the holes.
