A beautiful bistro table for urban balconies and small backyards. The table folds smoothly and remains standing when folded. The classic design will always work for you—even if you change décor styles or move to a bigger place. It’s a keeper. Ships to you completely assembled.
Teak is a tropical wood prized for its naturally high levels of oil. Center-cut teak (heart wood) contains more oils and is more prized. This outdoor dining table is made from properly kiln-dried teak heart wood. It will maintain its integrity and resist deterioration from weather, bugs and mold. Untreated teak will naturally weather to a soft neutral gray, in 9-24 months. Any color variations will even out over time. Checking (small cracks) may appear on the end grain of the wood—this is normal and does not affect structural integrity.
Some oil migrates to the surface of new teak furniture, leaching out during the first few rainfalls. This process stops after the furniture has begun to turn gray.
The table is carefully built with mature, responsibly grown teak. Furniture makers use traditional joinery—dowels and mortise-and-tenon joints. Hardware is 304-grade stainless steel. Furniture has been sanded on all sides.
HiTeak teak furniture needs minimal care. To clean, hose down (do not pressure wash). Scrub with soft brush and mild soapy water. For deeper cleaning, use HiTeak Teak Cleaner, sold separately.
Manufacturer does not recommend using teak oils or finishes other than HiTeak Teak Protector, sold separately. Using any other oils or finishes will void the warranty.
